I'm playing Vanguard. I took a 6mo. hiatus in June of 07, returned in 08 and have been there since. I played EQ for 6 years, EQ2 for 2, mixed in some WoW for a month (hated it), SWG, WAR, AOC, DAoC and a few others I won't bother to mention, to fill the voids before I returned to Vanguard. It's still the best thing going, it's too bad SOE is killing it (or more like "letting it die a slow death") because of the low population. It's in a "catch 22": They aren't getting any new subs so they don't seem to want to throw any more money into it for new content or advertising, but w/out any (real) new content in the pipeline (the lead dev even made a post before Christmas on the forums to this effect) the current players are trickling off to other games and w/out advertising they aren't getting new subs. Go figure.

Playing Vanguard as well. Just wish that game would get a population boost. Still fun though.

I played EQ2 for ages until it got worse, then I started Aion, but too much grinding and ganking. The graphics are the best I have ever seen but the gameplay sucks. So I got to lvl 50 and quit.

The last 2 months I installed and tried so many games and nothing gets even close to EQ2 in the old days.

So I tried Allods, it was fun in the first place but too much stuff needs to be changed to keep real gamers interested. And from what I heard the pvp part later on is the same **** as in Aion, but it is still beta and people are requesting PVE servers... So I gonna wait until open beta starts and give it another try.

Some things I really dislike about allods: You can group with whatever lvl you want. So there is a lvl 5 raidmob (yar thats the nice thing, raiding starts really early) and you get a lvl 23 into your group. He kills the raidmob, you get the Update. Or you go to an instance with 5 Mages, 1 tank. One of the people is 10 lvl higher and it is no problem at all. Many noobs in the game, guess they don't even know how to form groups :/

One of the things thats kinda kills the whole fun and purpose of an MMO in the first place IMHO.

So I haven't found anything yet that keeps me interested, I really fear I have to start WoW *lol

Trinity is currently chillin in Allods for the simple purpose of its being F2P so there's nothing to really to lose. We've been inactive since June of 09 since we moved out of VG and have been waiting on HoT. And when I mean by chillen, I mean we aren't playing it as a serious contender, just to buy time heh.

Just started playing wow. Its pretty cool and I can see why people like it. The game play is kind of dated especially those dammed fedex quests.

I played aion and loved it, until it was overrun by bots :X

God, I've played SO many MMO's trying to find the right one for me after finishing with 5 years of WoW, and finally settled with Darkfall. I'm really enjoying it.

I'm enjoying it so much that I've made a blog about my experiences.

If you have the time, please take a read, as most of it is quite comedically written. And I've really put my story telling skills to the test

One of my guild mates suggested it would be a good idea if we all download Allods Online to play together for something to do. Allods Online is a new and FREE MMORPG, which is great because none of us have anything to lose. I've installed it and I have to say, even though I'm only level 4, I'm really enjoying myself so far. If anyone wants to join me, I'm really enjoying myself so far. If anyone wants to join me look me up with the details below.

While looking for something post-WoW I started dungeons and dragons online since it's free now with a cash shop. So far the dungeons have a good atmosphere to them but it seems more like a single player game with a central hub than an MMO as everything outside town is instanced. Sure I haven't gotten far in it but it's kinda meh right now.

Edit: Trynet how was Star Trek Online? I'm a big fan of the Star Trek shows but when I found out they were making an MMO based on it the only thing that popped into my head was "How?" Doesn't seem like the IP would lend itself well to MMOs.
