I can’t stress enough how useful you guys have been just with the everyday topics and discussions on these forums. You may not realize it, but we read everything that gets posted here and a lot of it is very useful to hear. Obviously we can’t use every idea that gets tossed around, but there’s definitely been some things posted here and there that have made people on the team perk up their ears and take notes. So really, just keep doing what you’ve been doing. The team here has been incredibly busy, and currently all focus is on the development of the game. All I can say right now is things are moving along very well and I can’t wait until we’re able to start talking about all the amazingly cool stuff the team has been doing behind the scenes.
To address a couple of your other points… The convention season for this year has pretty much wrapped up, but we definitely have a full schedule ahead of us when convention season rolls around next year. We definitely plan on doing a ‘Meet the Team’ type of series. But that’s really all I can say on that, as we’re still working out the details, to include the “when and how”. As far as the AGDC panel, we found it incredibly valuable. And here’s a little known tidbit for you, we also had those guys here in the office for a couple hours that week as well. We picked their brains a bit, discussed the MMO genre as a whole, specific games here and there, our game in particular, etc. Any time you can sit down with someone like those 4 guys, who have been around as long as they have and done as much as they have in this genre, you can’t help but come away with some great information. I know this probably seems like I used a lot of words to say not much of anything, but hopefully it answers some of your questions and addresses some of your concerns. Thanks again for all of your patience with us during this quiet time in the development cycle and keep those posts and ideas coming.

Seriously... I know it has been tough on you guys the past few months because the Telara team has been quiet. Development teams have to do this from time to time - usually because we are extremely focused on major parts of the game and this is certainly true for us. The community team has also been quiet, mostly because when we talk to you guys... I want our people to have something very cool / important to say to all of you.
The HoT team has been extremely quiet for a while only because we are working on some very big things with the game. And when I say big things - I really mean game changer type of stuff that will make all this waiting seem worth it. It's probably going to be a few more months before we unveil all of our new surprises for you. So that's the bad news.
The good news is - 2010 is going to be a ground breaking year for Trion and for Heroes of Telara. This quiet time will NOT be lasting forever - but for just a few more months - then we won't be shutting up until - well, probably never.
But I want all of you to know that this community here is very much appreciated. You guys mean a lot to the whole team and it kills us not to be able to tell you we are working on - but that's the way it has to be for now.
But it will be worth the wait.
Best,
Chris

It kinda makes me wonder do they even understand what we are really asking for.
