Even though Trion has earned $100 million in funding, they still require layoffs. Back in January, Trion had to let go about 20 employees. But Trion did say their projects would be unaffected. I thought it was an interesting read. You can read the full article here.

Well I'm not too suprised that some cut-backs were mayed in order to save money, and it wouldn't suprise me if those people were dead weights and not vital to the company, or the games being made.
If there are any more in the future though...we should worry :P

I loved the line:
"We raised a lot of money, we have it in the bank -- we just don't think that having a lot of money is the ticket for spending it." Thats a great philosophy. Glad to see the man's got his head on straight.
